Focus >> Your logistics
How does it works in terms of configuration?
1
Ensure that your ERP is aligned with your structure
This is the starting point and this setup is important to do well!
2
In your ERP, centrally configure all relevant setup
To manage all outbound picking, efficiently, whether it is geared to satisfy your customers' orders or to supply your stores and distribution chains.
3
Install the picking application on your PDA's
And connect it to your ERP. Easy and straightforward. The applications are now connected.
And In terms of Workflow?
For your customers
STEP 1
The planner analyzes all the deliveries he has pending and segments them by delivery dates and zones
STEP 2
Plans deliveries by means of transport, be it your own truck or external carriers
STEP 3
Sends all the information to the logistics operators so that they can do all the picking of the products
STEP 4
The warehouse operators receive the information on their PDAs and start preparing the materials, making the necessary preparations, creating loading pallets and shipping volumes, and pre-allocating these materials to their own output zones in the warehouse.
STEP 5
When the transport arrives, the operators double-check the materials via PDA and load the truck with the entire load.
STEP 6
With all the material loaded, the transport/shipping notes and shipping documents are issued to the carrier.
And in terms of Workflow?
To satisfy your stores and distribution chains
STEP 1
The setup of the distribution points must be correctly parameterized, with the desired stock levels of each point correctly defined! This is the starting point.
STEP 2
Based on the above, maps of excess and replenishment of distribution points are generated, in which the various points will be supplied from central warehouses and the excess stock in these locations will be marked for shipment to central warehouses that will later redistribute these materials to locations that really need them!
STEP 3
All the work done is executed by the planning manager, who just like in the customer scenario visualizes this information and creates transfer maps, which are later sent to the logistics of each operational point to be executed. From here on the process for the logistics operators is the same as in the previous scenario.
